The laboratories within SCL are all in a close controlled air-conditioned environment with ESD Protected Work Stations. SCL have structured the laboratories into dedicated sections, which maximises the control and planning of instrumentation throughput. We currently operate FOUR laboratories which are divided as follows:-
SCL are continuing to build on the services and capabilities it is able to offer. The following highlights the main capabilities currently available:-
PROFESSIONAL COST EFFECTIVE REPAIRS (supported by a large stock of spares) REPAIRS are often overlooked when companies are budgeting to have their test equipment calibrated. For many reasons most equipment will require repair at some stage, normally at a most inconvenient time. To reduce "DOWN TIME" and subsequent loss in production, SCL have a team of highly skilled engineers who are experienced in fault finding to component level on any test equipment, from AVO METERS to complex SPECTRUM ANALYSERS. Confidence in our ability in this field is supported by AVO /MEGGER INTERNATIONAL Ltd. They have registered SCL as an APPROVED SERVICE CENTRE having assessed our organisation as complying with the requirements of Quality Assurance Standard OAS/005 REG No.016. SCL BELIEVE THAT THE COST OF CALIBRATION CAN BE STRONGLY OVER-SHADOWED BY AN INEFFICIENT REPAIR SERVICE. |
